An exhibition on public space in Prague
From 1 to 30 September 2025, Mariánské náměstí in front of the Prague City Hall hosts the outdoor exhibition City Makers – Architecture for the Public. This year’s theme is Public Space in Prague, and visitors can explore 19 nominated projects showcasing how the Czech capital develops spaces designed for both its residents and guests.
Great public interest
Although the exhibition has been open for just one day, it has already attracted hundreds of people. Around 2,000 viewers have participated in the vote for the Opera Pragensia 2025 Audience Award. This remarkable interest confirms that public space in Prague, as the capital of the Czech Republic, is an issue of nationwide importance and wide relevance.
