How is housing in Prague changing, and which projects will shape the Czech capital in the years to come? The exhibition Housing in Prague: A Modern Residential City presents more than 150 current and upcoming residential projects, offering an insight into the future development of housing across Prague and its individual city districts.
For several weeks, the Mánes Exhibition Hall will become a showcase of contemporary and future housing in Prague. Through architectural models, photographs and presentations, visitors can explore projects of various scales – from individual residential buildings to large urban developments.
A significant part of the exhibition is dedicated to Prague’s individual city districts, presenting projects currently being developed across the capital. The exhibition thus offers a broader perspective on how residential development is transforming different parts of Prague and how individual districts approach their future growth.
Prague Through Architectural Models
Architectural models form one of the key elements of the exhibition. They allow visitors to explore both completed and upcoming projects in three dimensions and to better understand their relationship to the surrounding urban fabric, public spaces and greenery.
The exhibition brings together a wide range of contemporary residential architecture in one place, providing an opportunity to see how Prague is evolving today – and to consider the directions in which the city may develop in the years ahead.
Housing as Part of the City
Housing in Prague: A Modern Residential City is not simply a showcase of individual buildings. It presents housing as an integral part of the city – closely connected with architecture, urban planning, public space, greenery and the everyday life of Prague’s residents.
By bringing together more than 150 current and upcoming residential projects, the exhibition provides a broad overview of the ideas, projects and developments shaping the present and future of housing in the Czech capital.
The exhibition is open to professionals and the general public alike, as well as students of architecture and urban planning and everyone interested in Prague, its architecture and its future development.
