We are pleased to announce that the exhibition “Czech and Slovak Architecture. Panorama of Architecture 1918–2023,” located in the Knights’ Hall of Bratislava Castle, will be extended until October 28, 2024.
This unique project, which maps an important period in the history of Czech and Slovak architecture, has been enjoying great public interest since its opening last December—not only from Slovakia but also from Austria and Hungary. By the end of April, more than 40,000 visitors had attended the exhibition, including many organized groups and experts in the field of architecture.
The extension of the exhibition will provide more opportunities not only for the general public and architecture professionals but also for organized groups of secondary and university students who actively visit the museum spaces. Additionally, Bratislava Castle is a popular destination for foreign tourists during the summer season, allowing an even larger number of visitors to discover and appreciate the richness of Czech and Slovak architecture.
The extension of the exhibition until the end of October is also symbolic, as it commemorates the establishment of the common state of Czechs and Slovaks. Thanks to the extension, we can celebrate this important anniversary and at the same time provide visitors with more time for exploration and education.
We thank all visitors for their interest so far and look forward to welcoming more people to discover the beauty and history of Czech and Slovak architecture.
