Architecture Week 2010
4th year of the international festival of modern and contemporary architecture Architecture Week will take place in Prague October 4-17, 2010. It is organized by Czech Architecture Week in cooperation with embassies and cultural institutes and supported by many partners and institutions.
This year's main theme of the festival will be green architecture and urban planning. Visitors will have a chance to meet representatives of architectonic profession from many countries, e.g. Bulgaria, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Germany, Slovakia, Spain or Poland in exhibitions, lectures, seminars, discussions, workshops, architectural walks and open days.
Since 2007 the main partner of the festival is Raiffeisen-Leasing Real Estate.
The festival will be located throughout the whole city of Prague.
Detailed program of all events is in progress and will be available on www.architectureweek.cz.
Together with the festival the organizers are preparing official catalogue, map and guide printed on recycled paper according to the main theme of festival - green architecture.
